Dash Cup Holder

I just picked up my 2011 2.0 TDI Sline and want to install a cup holder, can I just take out the 3 blank buttons next to the hazard switch and fit one?

Have a look on youtube as i am sure there is a video about installing or removing cup holder

If you have the facelift version I don’t think so as the 3 blanks are part of the switches, the pre facelift model is an easy enough job, a little skimming to be done on the cup holder module but other than that it’s easy enough

The switch bank is a complete unit.
