    Hi All ! ! !

Let me introduce my tiny project.

    Patient:

    Model: Audi A3 8L 3D
    year: 1998r.
    Engine: 1.6 AKL
    Horsepower: 101 KM
    Mileage: 62K
    Gearbox: 5 speeds
Interior: Standard as every A3 have

    Technical:

    - New engine - still 1.6 but hopefully get the swop done before AITP2012
    - New gearbox - previous one crash got a hole - new one came from POLO sport
    - obviously I have everything what should be when you buying new car.

I bought an Audi on 29.09.2010r. That car been bought just to fix and sell but I've decided to keep it.
She comes on a platform bcoz as I said engine was nacked.

    Interior:

    BUT LETS STARTS MY HISTORY:

First Xenon HID 6000k main and dipped beams:

    Then Chrome mirrors IN PRO:

    H & R coilovers:

After that led SMD can free all round:

    S3 gearknob pianoblack:

After couple of weeks I'v decided to change whole interior as prelift model doesn't look nice:

    Air electric vents:

And the facelift headlamps genuiue HELLA:

    Front:

    Back:

New wiper arms with blades came from Audi A4 B6:

On that time the car look like that:

New 2011 season comes and I had to chang something:
First JOM strut brace as I couldn't get S3 one:

    S3 Back bumper:

    And the front one:

    OEM S3 tail pipes:

    And the S3 back spoiler:

    Armrest also on place:

Then decided to swap single DIN onto 2DIN with AUDI NAVIGATION SYSTEM PLUS DX:

    And New 8P steering wheel:

On April unfortunatelly my gearbox said enough:

In the summer I got nice gift and...
Black S3 rooflining with a grabs:

Also Decided to put DIS cluster to my car(previously was with on dis), It is 2003 model working on can but there wasn't a problem and there it is:

    Amber light under foot:

    And amber light on handles:

    A few photos:

Another mod - New key 8E0:

Next Christmas trip to Poland and because I have two kids so there is something for them - 7" LCD screens in both headrests + DVD and PS3:

    DVD sats in glovebox:

IN Poland I've made another mod wchich is 12V socket in the boot:

In the same time Recaros Ambition interior fully electric seats came accros:

New year 2012 came So new parts Battery and coolant bottle covers:

As you see a lot of work been done but still plenty left, especially when new engine comes, lol...

Is your Insurance too much for a 1.8T / S3?

Looks very nice but it's still a 1.6, did you consider buying an S3 as I'd imagine it would have been less expenssive and be the real deal. 10/10 for the results though

Good effort fella but as above, would it not have been as cheap to Px against an 18tqs/ S3.

Interested in how you did the key swap over. Any chance of guid...... Heads for search box ;)

No m8 Just never tried to buy. I.m paying for this one 400 pound.

Thanks m8. I know it's still a 1.6 but soon it will change. I never was thinking to buy S3, however I like it. But there would be no joy to play with it. All what you can do only in S3 is the power and good alloys. S3 don't need anything to change, but unfortunatelly I like do something.

Thanks, It might be. One electrican fella made new shape circuit board and just solder everything on it from the old key. But unfortunatelly by my mistake I dropped that key and board been smashed.:crying:

After new programming and swaping some pins in the sockets they works straight away,..:):icon_thumright:

Its gone long time since I've post last thread. but I've been away.

Anyway I come across with stupid idea to fit Aircon system to my car. Originally I had standard heater but not any more. lol.

It took me 4 hours to strip a car:

Then a short break for a lager and fitting everything back on:

Of course there was some unexpected things such as no hole for a aircon pipes:

I've spent also a few hours with a diagrams but finally got it done:

Plan is finish with 85% only as I've got Saturday and Sunday off over the week.

What is left that wire up Compressor and fan. lol

My car is 98 pre lift but I have a full Facelift interior. So I've decided to put Audi A4 air con panel in without changing any wires.

I know DANE it's only been lifted for work to be done with A/C. It will be lowered on Friday.

BTW. Only re-gassing left and the A/C project will come to end.:)
