    mmmm...so do i ship you my car from Canada to the UK or you will come visit me and bring your workshop :D

    obviously i forget to mention that i am located in Canada and USA ( i travel in between for work purposes )

    Bill, what's your view on a flex hone for the bores for a home install (block in the car)?. Worth a quick going over, or just fit new rings and run in as normal?

    I take it you examine the cross hatch etc before making a decision.

    I use a 3 legged hone tool with medium stones in it to lightly abrade the surface to a consistent surface.. and blend in the inevitable smal step at the top of the bore slightly.

    flex hones are ok, but I dont like their propensity to shed carborundum

    Its dependant on how the bores look yes.. AVS cars do seem to have more wear than others from what I have seen.
