Damn Audi keys.... Advice?

Iv not got a spare key. Just rang Audi who quoted my just over £160 for a replacement - WOW.

I googled a few guys in the london area who do replacement keys and transponder and then programme to the car but wont travel to where i live!

Does anyone now how to get these cheaper and in the the west mids area?

Any advice.

If you have a read of the Welcome sticky thread you'll see that you should wait until your thread has at least dropped of the first page before bumping it.

The forum moves pretty fast but people still look at the lower threads.

The search results only last for a short period of time. If you do a search just as I did above you'd get the same results.

Same thing happened to me,.
I bought some blade 'blanks' from ebay for a few quid.
I have a spare fob. S
ome key cutters can cut replacement blades. I have heard that Audi can do the transponder bit for alot less than quoted, especially if you have the 'key' already...

The key (pardon the pun) is to find someone able to make a replacement...
