Damage to bonnet/hood - erosion? (pics)

Hi,

My first post on here and sadly one due to damage within 24 hours. I've attached some pictures.

After a lifetime of driving cheap cars, I purchased a beautiful Audi A5 Black Edition 2013 model.

It was in perfect condition when I bought it.

However 48 hours later I notice these on the bonnet/hood.

Anyone has any idea what could have caused these?

Any how/how much they may cost to repair?

There was very bad weather on the way back on thin muddy roads, some small stones did flick up onto the car, but theres no damage to the bumper. Could small stones cause this damage?

Or, as I suspect, has someone caused malicious damage to my car within hours of the purchase? =(

I would doubt it would be stone chips, they look very big and deep for small stones. they look quite high up aswell.
are there any dent round the area etc??

No, no dents.

I guess the most important thing now would be to try and work out what options - and costs - I have in getting these repaired?

I'd really rather not repaint the whole bonnet as my finances are really stretched at the moment.

You can buy an official Audi touch up paint set, can put up a new parts request and mike will get back to you with buying from him, just need the paint code.

Can built up a few thin layers of the paint until the chip is filled and then finish with the lacquer, watch some videos on how to do it properly, might need to build up the paint and then flat sand with wet and dry then polish out and scratches.
