D4 4.2 TDI Exhaust

Anyone improved there diesal exhaust , im going to try to unleash the V8 in mine, any input welcome, (except get a petrol) lol.

I have built a twin exhaust on a v6 diesel and with carefull chosen materials you will get a bit of noise on Wot however it's nothing like a v8 unless you remove all silencers and go free flow ! The turbos do a very good job at muzzling the engine noise so a larger bore exhaust only gives a bit more noise on midrange and full throttle but makes the engine breathe better ! First rule of tuning is : what goes in MUST come out !

Next weekend, Im getting the back silences / back boxes removed , so from cat back new exhaust , see what thats like .

I'm so tempted to just cut the back silencers off and weld Tips onto the pipe.. bodge job but who would know right?
