Thanks for posting Cuppa
M E G A !!!!!!! - Subscribed. I would hate to see how much you have spent on this.
So would I
It makes me wince and it's come out of your wallet (not mine!).
If Abramovich owned an S5 he'd be struggling to keep up.
That's bloody amazing.
Forgive me for the lack of words Cuppa but WoW....just WOW!
Ooh, parcel arrived today
And for the keen eyed amongst you, yes 21 bolts so I have a spare.
Titanium wheel bolts for the new spangly rims? Brave move, but could save another big chunk of weight.
Amazing how much removing significant weight from the outboard of the vehicle can improve the performance, ride and handling (often overlooked). Makes car far more agile, less crashy and generally better to drive.
Now we just need the public wheel reveal!
Absolutely amazing build.. Fully in love with your car haha.. S5 is my dream car but several years off yet !
My god. Its beautiful.
Makes me wish i stuck in at Uni!
Wow. Hat goes off to you! Epic car you have there.
Finally got to touch yesterday...so so light.
Took some pics, but typical British weather it rained torrents all afternoon so not the best unfortunately.
A few more pics just sent through from Prestige Wheels in Birmingham.
Weight of the wheels (in lbs):
Weight of the Michelin PSS in contrast:
Epic, no more needs saying!
Amazing build thread, I've re-read it a few times, after I do, I have the constant urge to get the debit card out again!
Hats off to you Cuppa!!
Amazing build, love it. I think it need a facelift and it will be perfection in my eyes.
Uh uh, no facelift for me, I prefer PRE-FL DRLs and the lines down to the grille. I know I'm in the minority, but that's my opinion. I also prefer the really old mirrors (which I kept), but I do like the FL tail lights (not enough to change though).
Lovely car, but I want to hear it, HEAR IT i say! post a vid!!
I'll second that!!
Awesome car, and it makes me want to get a matte wrap for my car.

Woowsers! this thread is on another level!
I have a couple, but they are fairly old now and poor sound. I'll have a go at taking some more footage.
Makes it very easy to wash - no more worries about swirl marks
That just looks so right
A few more shots, courtesy of Quirky Melon and Prestige Wheel Centre.
Considering it was raining heavily they came out well. Originals are here: https://www.flickr.com/search/?w=113442852@N04&q=shoot
lovely looking car mate
Those wheels are epic! Well the whole cars epic but those wheels!
Truly outstanding example, this is nothing short of porn !
It's been at MRC Tuning all week so I am missing it immensely.
Love those wheels!
Spill the beans ;-)
Got the car back from MRC Tuning with the updated cooling kit they now supply with the TTS kit. Been a while since last dyno'd, but made an extra 27Nm of torque (664Nm) with a tune tweak (think the Okada coils helped with the timing). Happy days
Not sure what they did in the map tweak, but after being impressed with a 27Nm torque gain I also got a record MPG on my round trip yesterday...
You are THE BOSS!
I'm speechless... good taste in every single mod.
Congratulations! Simply astonishing
cuppa whats the name of the new colour and is it wrapped?
Would love mine to be this colour and was thinking of getting it wrapped fairly soon unless you can advise me otherwise....
The wrap is transparent, i.e. it's the original body colour showing through.
If you're going to get it wrapped then summer is the best time as the sun on the bodywork will make the wrap adhere to the bodywork better. It makes it simple to wash being matte as there's no issue with swirl marks - been OK for me so far, but to keep it balanced there's also some horror stories out there - plenty of info on the web of the pros and cons so best to read up.
thanks a lot cuppa, will do some research
OMG EPIC have to re-title it the big pockets build lol
HRE wheels top class (worth more then some cars on forum ....).Very good mods now its time for full titanium exhaust...
Now have a Facebook page for the car
