Hi sorry I know this has been covered in another thread but was wondering if anyone fits this in the north if Scotland? I have a 2010(60) 140 a3 black edition sportback and was going to go to highland audi to get it fitted but after reading another post about another user putting in his s3 to get done and they couldn't I decided against them. Only thing is I can't travel too far as one I work offshore and two my other half uses the car for her job and school runs. I seen brodstars name mentioned but didn't want to be forward and pm him without posting first. Thanks for looking, Robbie:)

Hi Sandra, thanks for the reply. I'm in Buckie in the moray area not too far from Elgin. I think I read he was up in this area a while ago.

TBH fitting cruise control isn't that hard Iv done it to my car.
Buying the kit of eBay is about £100 them all it needs is coading.
I know what you mean with higland Audi, no idea with any retrofitting.

Hi Cozza thanks for the reply m8, I'm not that good installing things tbh and would rather get someone that knows what they are doing to fit it in half the time properly. I thought the days of dealers not knowing what they are doing was over years ago until I read about highland Audi on here.

I got cruise fit on my A3 54 reg a couple of weeks ago at Audi in Hull. Was meant to be £299 but talked them to £249. Only thing is they broke my indicator stalk so had to go back and have them fit one of those free of charge lol. Couldn't be without cruise

(obviously you're in Scotland - just letting you know what I paid)

Hi Maffew was that including supplying it as well? At least they can get it to work down ur way lol :)

Haha, yeah this was part and fitting it. Turned out that for some reason in mine it was the wrong ECU for my chassis - so they replaced this free of charge as well. Didn't do too bad out of it really. Didn't think £249 was bad for having cruise fit.

Sounds like u got a good enough deal with the extras m8 :) I phoned up my local audi asking how much for cruise and rear parking sensors when I first got the car and was quoted 600 odd quid which didn't seem too bad. Now I would just like the cruise as I have 2 holidays this year and have to travel down the bottom half of Scotland to get there. My ankles are clicking enough with age as it is lol :)

Yeah maybe give them a bell and if they say 300£ try get them down a bit - sure they'd rather have your custom than not! After they quoted £299 All I said was I wanted to pay around £200, £230 and they agreed on £249 which I thought was pretty decent really. Definitely money well spent in my opinion :D

I was thinking of getting them to supply and fit it but after seeing another post on here regarding they fitted it but couldn't get it coded I had second thoughts as it sounded like it did years ago when u had to put my escort turbo to a specialist to get set up properly after getting a new turbo fitted!Granted it isn't f**d and its moved on leaps and bounds in technology but with Audi I didn't expect to hear we can't ... :)
