I saw an article for a co2 cooled intercooler....cool (lol) but...

How about we use the Aircon to chill the intercooler somehow....more bhp for almost free?

nice thinking, but co2 and no2 spray freeze the intercooler, if your thinking blowing aircon air onto the intercooler its not nearly cold enough. spraying aircon fluid onto the intercooler would be still paying for a something to spray on plus I have no idea what side effects air con fluid would have it could be 10x more flammable or something!

can't you just stick a leather jacket, some sunnies and a huge quiff on your intercooler?? That'l make it look cooler so surely has a chance of workin.

air at 30mph will be a hell of a lot cooler than aircon anyway !

think of this then....if you drove the car at 30, with the temp on cold but the aircon on econ, you will get ambient air....not nearly as cold as the aircon on LO
