Couple of problems

Had a few problems show up today,to start with the oil symbol started flashing on the dash in red but the engine has got plenty of oil so don't know what could be the problem,also had to go to my workshop and took it easy cause of the oil symbol but it started making like a hic up noise and losing power has anybody else had this problem before atall or know what might be causing it

the red oil symbol, followed by 3 beeps is low oil pressure, which isnt a great thing to say the least.

Could the low oil pressure be due to thin oil,I checked the oil again and it seems to be very thin and over the max for some reason

dont drive it
get the sump off check pickup pipe
if its the low oil preasyre and u drive it will **** the engine

Check the oil return pipe from the sump, perhaps it's blocked up majorly. Failing that, oil pump going / gone? :S
