Couple of new owner questions

Morning all! As i said in the welcome section i will be asking loads of questions so here goes with the first couple of many.....
My A3 2.0T quattro i'm collecting Wednesday has covered 80k on a 55 plate, Full Audi service history.
in your guys opinion is this too higher miles to consider a remap?
Also i'm gonna give it a light service (something i always do when i buy a new car) just wondered if the Haldex oil and filter is only available from the main dealer, or does a independent company make it as well?

80k is fine for a remap. But budget in for a potential replacement clutch.

As for the haldex, I'm not too sure but I think you might need a special tool for it.

Im sure the Haldex needs a special spanner too.

haldex needs doing every 40k are you buying from a trader or private???
as has been said clutch shortly
one thing though make sure you take it to someone who actually remembers to put the oil back in to the haldex unit!
