Hi all,

Has anyone had their cambelt replaced recently? Just wondered what a reasonable price would be?

I've been quoted £280 +VAT from an independent Audi specialist which I thought sounded quite expensive?

(Also quoted £125 +VAT for a LongLife service which I thought seemed reasonable.)

As per sig it's a 2001 2.0 Petrol saloon.

Cheers

Mike

£300 is about the going rate, £450+ at a stealer (although some seem to be offering almost competitive rates depeding where you are in the country)

Thanks Andy. Seems it's not too bad then.

Cheers

Make sure they do the water pump at the same time (assuming it runs off the same belt)

Yeah the guy I spoke to said that was included.

Thanks again.

How much does it cost to buy the camabelt ,water pump and tensioners ?
