coolant temp gauge

Hello,

When i start my car in the morning (I'm also suffering a lumpy idle) the temp gauge starts rising very slowly, it rarely hits 90. If i stop for petrol, jump back in the car and start it the gauge will remain at 0. It has had a new temp sensor within the last month.

Would/could this be a Thermostat problem?

As an aside, the heaters are hot.

change the stat, lumpy idle could mean you need to clean and reset the throttle body
