I have just collected my new RS4 cab and it was driven back from about 200 miles away and all was fine. after we had finished checking it over and it had been standing for 15 min one of my friends checked the coolant level but it was still hot so it boiled over.
Now the coolant light keeps coming on in reg every time I start the car and stays on. From owning another B7 before the oil and water temps are fine when I drive it and it getting up to temp fine and staying there, not over heating.
I have got a new temp sensor but that is at the back of the engine and I wont be able to fit that till next weekend.
Any other ideas as to what it could be? I was think maybe the coolant level sensor on the bottom of the tank?
