Evening all, lost my electrics in the audi did some research and discovered that the convenience module was probably to blame. So bought a second hand one. Tried fitting it and everything was going well until I plugged the last plug in and the indicators wouldn't stop flashing. I'm guessing that it needs coding to my vehicle so wondering if one of those el'cheapo eBay cables and the freeware would be enough to code what would be needed to get it working on my motor. Otherwise need to arrange a visit to someone with vagcom.

Be very careful when you mention those cheap cable thingys 1 of the guys on this site will tear strips of you:motz:, heaven forbid if people try and save themselves a bit of money buying 1 off ebay.
