confused with tb clean

Hi been looking through some 8l / mkiv guides of tb cleaning but they dont seem to be the same as mine , the throttle body has a metal pipe going into it and the air hose is held on by something other than a jubilee clip ( not sure of name) , can anyone advise me how to go about cleaning it ?

I used the same guide as 'voorhees' suggested above - went fine. Any pics of yours? what engine code is it? SHouldn't be much different to the one in the pics in the guide... I just did mine this morning and im a complete beginner...
