Capello's job is to get the best out of world class players, that's all he has to do. He picks the team and he decides how they play through strategy, motivation and belief. Did he do that? Do you really think every player in the team just decided to play sh1t. Of course not, we know how well everyone of them can play we see it week in week out. They were all consistently sh!t, so what are you gonna do, sack the whole team and keep the manager? As for highly paid, Capello will earn £26m if he stays the distance to 2012. £26m for what is effectively a very part time job. 5 year £26m contract which equates to less than a years work, not too shabby is it? Yes the players are overpaid but at least they actually "work" all year round, if you can call it work! And all the players are overpaid, not just England. We need an English manager who can inspire the team to play like a team, it's all about belief, we know we have the talent.
