Hi guys iv just brought a audi a3 sport 53 plate 1.6, never had an audi before and finaly brought one, so still new to audi, iv been getting the overheat collant warning light on the dash and the over heat gauge goes up after half hour of driving over 90 towards 120 little worred been checking the collant and it is going down when driving but there's no sign of a leek on the floor, iv heard there is issues with plastic water pump, also the fans on the front come on but they sound so loud almost like a plane somthings not right I just dont want to blow a gasket so im car less and was just after some advice, any advice and information would be helpful thanks. Dave

Ahh thanks ijust worred and new to audi it looks like it is the original stock one so will get it replaced, do you know it that would make the front fans quite down?

not really, maybe the bearings in the fan are worn?

Had a similar issue with my 2008 S3, turned out to be a hole in the radiator, good luck!
