Cold Air Intake on Audi A3 2.0 TDi

Hello guys.. and girls

I was searching the net for more information about the behavior of an 2.0Tdi engine when it has on it a cold air intake system.
I've seen that on the market are available 2 systems the first one is a K&N Typhoon and the second one is from BMC.

I would like know more things about the things that are pros and contrs about using such system for bringing more air in the engine.

Through my search on the net i found that many people complain about the K&N solution, they say that the most present side effects are the MAF issues.

Also i have looked on the site of EVO MS and forge but it seems that they don't offer a solution for the diesel engines.

This was covered not so long ago so have a look a few pages back - the jist of the thread was not to bother with a cold air intake and just replace the stock filter with an aftermarket panel filter from Green!
