Coil over. Suggestions welcome

I am looking at purchasing a coil over set for my 1999 1.8T Sport. Who is the best supplier? and what sort of prices are they?

There was a thread on here about some JAMEX ones off ebay that fit the bill... £200 ish... Cheap yet decent. I will post up when I find the thread.

I hate to say it but! As cheap as poss, but without substituting handling. My front shocks are knacked, and seeing some of the prices on ebay, and here, figured it would be as cheap to change over to coilovers.

Without wanting to steal a potential sale from Damien, having been in cars with all different sorts of coilovers, I'm really not seeing the benefit of spending more than the £200 Jamex ones, until you're up into the £600 plus region of adjustable shocks.

All fixed damping coilover sets I've experienced to date have been much of a muchness.

The jamex kit offers really great ride quality and low price. They're nicely made and fit perfectly. and have been well proven to stand the test of time and use.
