Does anyoine know if this is a common problem? I am sure I have heard about it before. The car has nearly done 40000 miles now, and although clutch perect in traffic (i don't ride it at all), if you accelerate hard, the revs will go up and then come back down before gear engages which to be indecates wither clutch or flywheel giving.

Anyone got any ideas on this? Its going it for second service on Friday so not sure whether to try on warranty, but then will they spot the map?

the stock vag clutches are very weak, they are not able for the extra torque due to chipping, mine is slipping also
