I have a 2011 Audi A3 Sport back 2.0 TFSI and over the last few weeks if had a loud clicking noise coming from the clutch pedal when pressing down and then also when releasing. It didn't bother me at first but now it's annoying me.

Anyone got any ideas? The pedal is not catching on anything

Try spraying white grease to lubricate the pivot

Had this on my 8V, had a look and it looked like the pedal was getting caught half way, I wiggled the clutch pedal and it's been fine ever since.

i wish mine was a simple...it seems to be the strut that comes from peddle into the clutch cylinder
