My car currently has a uprated sachs organic clutch with the Oem fly wheel.

    Its running arround 285bhp.

i have a feeling my clutch may be coming to its lifes end :crying:.

what clutches you guys recomend and what suppliers ??

fitting is not a problem as i can do this myself however looking for advise on what clutch you guys recomend. i like the feel to mine now so may end up getting the same.

    whats you verdict guys ???

    Thanks

The uprated Sachs worked on mine up to 440lbs,so if treated right, they are pretty tough, although early failures are also reported, but I would be looking at either a replacement Sachs or the Loba/Sachs on your car, which isn't running silly levels of torque.
If you do want something stronger, then the Loba/Sachs is a good deal tougher, but like many,is an SMF setup,so you will get a lot more grumbling at idle, and if you really plan on going the whole hog, this is what I use..... http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/a3-s3-sportback-8p-chassis/155442-spec-stage-3-clutch.html

I found the uprated Sachs was a little heavier than the stock clutch, but otherwise easy to use and reliable....the Spec is a bit heavier again, and being an SMF setup, there is a lot of grumbling at idle, but for a clutch that will handle nearly 600lbs,it's light and easy to use.
