Clicking sound on turning wheels

Its intermittent but detectable at low speeds or when stationery. Its not loud either. The front also seems nervouse over bumps. Its def not wheel bearings. I reckon more a worn cv joint. Anyone ever replaced anymof theirs? Cars got 76k miles

Is it a click or is it a clunk? My car makes a clunk when turning the wheel full turn. The noise I get is a clunk not a click.
I did get a clicking noise when I first installed my cross drilled & slotted rotors but that's to be expected.

Hi,

I had a similar problem with mine, when going round corners at low speeds it would make a click/clunk noise and it turned out to be the outer track rod ends hope this helps

If your stationery then it's not a CV joint, more likely track rod ends.

cheers chaps

yes def a click. is it essential to get the geo done again? i guess you can get it crudely right by working off the position on the old one?

Yes, if it's out your tyres will wear unevenly and upset the handling, for the few quid to get it right, rather than a few hundred in tyres or potentially your life.
