claying question

Ok my car is now ten months old. I had it pro detailed straight away with Gtechniq Exo.
As we are coming to winter am thinking of toping up with C2v3.
My question , i have never clayed before. I have bought some clay , but should i do this before using the C2v3. I always snow foam / 2 bucket , etc. Was concerned the claying may take off some of the Exo ???

I would do the following

Snow foam
Wash
Clay
Paint cleaner (zymol hd cleanse, swissvax cleaner fluid regular, etc)
Sealant
Wax (if required)

When you've washed it rub your hands gently over the lower panels, do they feel gritty or matt and not smooth?
If they're still smooth then I wouldn't clay. You'll remove some of your sealant.

Slighty on the roof but most panels feel like silk still. So will leave well alone.
