    What are people using to clean them? & stop them going all milky again instantly - or is this impossible

    Chrome, surely they should be a brushed aluminium?

    I had roof rails and window trims on my B5 pasat and for 5 years there were never spotlees, they are a pain once the milkyness apears.

    I use brasso wadding. It's not to bad and cheap😜

    I've always had good results with (repeated) applications of AutoGlym Super Resin Polish.

    I've brasso in the cupboard so I'll try that 1st & see if it helps before trying autoglym
