It's covers, not the whole mirror. At least on the 8L S3, haven't looked on the 8P S3.

I like them but probably wouldn't look right on an akoya silver car!

my car is the navy or pearl blue - not sure of the proper name

the mirrors are assosciated with the more prestigious end of the scale so they cant be bad

how much are they from audi?

The genuine brushed ally ones from Audi are about £280 for the pair - they are metal though.

You can get copies for around £100, I've got a set fitted to my A3.

And are they easy to fit, does it matter what type you have regrads to heated mirrors, etc...?? Daft quesion but thought I'd ask!

I bought them from ebay - they are made by hagus and the quality is spot on.

Fitting is a doddle, the old ones snap off and the new ones snap on. It's easier to pop the mirror out first, it's clipped in place - you need to be careful not to crack the mirror though... There's 2 wires for the heating element.

I'm planning on removing mine in the next couple of months when I get round to chagning my car...

what size are your rs4's? i think i will prob end up going for a set if i cant find something else that tickles my fancy!

Yep thats mine. They are 18"s, my original rs6's will be put back on. Not sure what I will end up with, hence I'm not sure when I will get rid of it - trying to decide.

Err will I go for another audi - I think not but I do have a habbit of changing my mind...

Possibley a beemer, really not sure need to get my backside into the dealers for a few test drives.
