had my s4 chipped yesterday and im a very very happy chappy
was done by simon at upsolute ccc technology:rock:
this is the second car of mine he has done he did my leon cupra previously
about 5 or 6 years ago and ive never had one bit of trouble
id reccomend this to any of the s4 owners who are thinking about possible
enhancements

What bhp difference do you get? Can you post the graphs?

Have you changed any thing else?

Tell me more...

I've had an upsolute remap done previopusly also (on my old 1.8T) and it was great also.

I've just put a thread in the Tuning Forum asking about tuning issues on the S4 - which ones are there...

AMD seem to be the favourites, but the Stage 1 only gives approx 15bhp increase (I appreciate it's n/a) and for c£800. The Milltek's may also make a small difference again for c£800... So I'd be very interested to hear about the Upsolute one. How much? What were the gains? Where are CCC Technology???

ScoTTy, was gonna ask you about yours, and the difference remaps make to the S4... What trackdays you got planned this year??

it aint been on a rolling road so i couldnt possibly guess at gains
all i can say is it feels a lot quicker in the midrange
it was cheaper than the equivalent amd or such stage 1
altogether im very happy with it

You say "in the midrange" which is one of the reasons I asked about graphs. I'd like to see how the power is over the whole range as a N/A V8 should be nice and flat and over the full range of revs.

Here's my graphs.

Standard at 3259rpm was 324lb-ft/440Nm
Modded at 3366rpm was 375lb-ft/509Nm

Standard at 6383rpm was 337Bhp/251KW/342PS
Modded at 6639rpm was 395Bhp/295KW/401PS

Shame you haven't got graphs as the "butt dyno" is not something which can be relied on. :(

p.s. No more planned track days apart from the 'ring now.

im happy with it as it is for now
ill wait for the supercharger conversion this summer then ill putt mine on the rolling road

Have prices come down? They were silly numbers.

the mtm one is still silly money compared to everyone else
im waiting for the apr one which should be relaesed this summer
price of around £4500
the mtm one is about double that plus around £1500 in actuall installtion costs

Nothing planned yet. Hopefully once early season and once nearer the end of the year.
