Chilled glovebox!

So who has the fridge in the glovebox?

Looking at doing it myself but can't really justify the costing, now it's punching the £100 mark which I thinks abit steep, so how I see it is;

1. Stump up the cash and do it properly.
2. Just buy the pipe and plug and leave the fridge compartment out and pipe straight into the glove box.

What's the pros and cons of each? Anyone done either?

As far as I know they only work off of the air con? If so pretty useless imo.

Besides who really needs a fridge in their car?

Do it properly or you could end up with a lot of mould growing in your glovebox.....I'm sure I saw one last week on eBay or gumtree for £60 for everything you need.

this is in th for sale not something i would use so dont see the point if you wouldmake use of it then it depends on need

Regarding the mould though, I doubt that would be a issue, if you look at VW's, whenever they have the fridge option, it's just plumbed straight into the glovebox, they don't have a cooler box like the a4!
