Cheapest Place To Buy a (New) Loba or APR pump?

As the title really? any ideas?

Feel like it's pump time.

Not going with Autotech internals, I'd like a complete pump.

Right, been weighing all my options up with this....

Do I go complete Loba HPFP for £579

Or

Brand new pump, rebuilt by APR in America for £560.

So.....what shall I do?

The Loba will be easier to get hold of so i'd go (and will be) that route.

To be fair, I'm leaning that way too....but I want to do this pump right and in the best possible way.

So time etc I'm not too bothered about, just so long as it's right.

Which has better flow figures? APR or Loba?

Which has a higher failure rate?

The last rebuild APR pump I bought was a disappointment.
Yeah it worked fine but I expected the exterior to look like new like a refurb.
How wrong I was it looked like it had been used for a million miles already.
For the money I'd try Loba as they get fantastic reviews.

APR winter sale is on and a rebuild would be £430.

APR 2.0T FSI High Pressure Fuel Pump

What I'd do is wait till the 29th and get either the Loba or APR from Awesome GTI, It's black Friday and they do some big discounts!

Yeah I saw the price on awesome GTI and I can get a complete new HPFP from work for £130. So figured I could send that off to APR I'll and have a nice spanking new APR pump.

Ill wait for this Black Friday and see what's going down! :)

cheers!
