now mentioned as a cat c
so much for not recorded.....
Still can be put on the road with a quick VIC check
Presumably if he's been driving around for 6 months after fixing it, its already had the VIC test?
if hes got v5 it must of had vic
which if he fixed it he mustve known its recorded
I wonder how it passed the VIC test with a bent ARB... There might be other issues with the car as well if he wants rid of it!
VIC doesnt check road worthyness, just identity. It's to ensure its not cut'n'shut or cloned etc
Yer, but if it needs a VIC its MOT would be void.
So you'd need to do the VIC and an MOT to get it back on the road?
But then the ARB is bent? So maybe he's VIC tested it then drove round for 6 months on the old void MOT?
that would be my guess mate yeah. I would still buy it to fix if i had it, as long as there is no chassis damage as everything else is bolt on. Could fit ally uprights and S4/RS4 brakes then too......
the price is going up and down like a yoyo, lol .... now at £326 reserve not met
Suprise suprise reserve not met £620
perhaps i should offer him 700 and take it away, lol
Do it! I can tell you're itchin... Probably having a hard time talking yourself out of it?.... Already justifying the saving on the many parts you could either sell or keep and save money on buying new? Eh? Go on!....
I am already wrestling with myself over it,lol
Shall I just congratulate you now or wait til the auction's finished?
it's already over mate, no one won.
Just saw that. Wonder if will get parted out or if they'll just keep trying to sell it... the right price is there somewhere ;O)
