which if he fixed it he mustve known its recorded

I wonder how it passed the VIC test with a bent ARB... There might be other issues with the car as well if he wants rid of it!

VIC doesnt check road worthyness, just identity. It's to ensure its not cut'n'shut or cloned etc

Yer, but if it needs a VIC its MOT would be void.

So you'd need to do the VIC and an MOT to get it back on the road?

But then the ARB is bent? So maybe he's VIC tested it then drove round for 6 months on the old void MOT?

that would be my guess mate yeah. I would still buy it to fix if i had it, as long as there is no chassis damage as everything else is bolt on. Could fit ally uprights and S4/RS4 brakes then too......
