Cheap GENUINE VAG turbo if anyone is wanting/needing one

Is this for a petrol only?
The vains on my Diesel are sticking and i'm after a cheap replacement.

Yes its from a 1.8T, and doesnt even have vanes

so i take it, it will not work on a diesel then?

nope, i think the mountings are all different, and its probably also too small.

How does this compare to the K03-0029?

Its the standard turbo fitted to your car now..(unless of course you have something else fitted) Not an upgrade or anything just a replacement turbo

Some info there. 005 is the normal AEB/AJL turbo, 029 is a tiny bit larger and comes on later cars, and is a bit more efficient.
