I recently bought some LED sidelights and was going to put them in the other day, however there is no room to get the rear cover off the driver side headlights. It looks like on the passenger side it will be fine when the battery is out, but can you do the driver side without taking the washer fluid tank out or do you have to do that.

Is it easy if so and do you have to empty it or not?

I had a look in the workshop manual but couldn't see anything about it.

Thanks,

Tim

Just take the lights out four scews just that's how I did mine 5 min job

i can get mine off no problem, i then just gently pull the wires for the side lights and bingo :)

They are the self levelling xenons, will this upset them at all or is it fine?

I popped the back off and couldn't even get the back out, it's jammed in so tight! There is the washer bottle and then some cables wedged in between, I tried to slide it up and out for about 5 mins but no joy, could squeeze my fingers in and touch the wires but didn't want to pull anything out as might not be able to get it in again!

done mine, it is a little tight but I removed nothing just a gentle pull on the wires easy, but I did brake my nail changi
