Changing Radio in A6

Hi all

I have a 1998 A6 2.8 Quattro and I am wanting to remove the factory fitted radio and replace it with something else. Do you need any special tools to remove the factory radio?

yes you need two special pins you slide them in two narrow slots to release the locking tabs then pull on the pins to pull the radio forward audi main dealer may help you or any commercial radio fitter even halfords
