Changed the Ignition switch but ........

i have the problem that my airbag light has come on after replacing switch .....does anybody know the fix for this ???

the only thing i can think of is when you changed the switch you must have put the ignition on for a second

You need VAG-COM I'm afraid. Dealer can do it, just bear in mind I was told that the sirbag system is disabled when the warning light shows. Seems pretty ridiculous when it just needs a reset but I wouldn't be surprised.
