Change speakers in sportback

    Got a new sportback(very nice) but want to upgrade the speakers.Any ideas how to get them out?Does all the door trim have to come off?Got the speaker grill off but can't see any screws to undo.Help i need some proper sound in my new wheels.

    Go to the professionals instead of botching your new sportback? Think of the resale value with all those scuff marks you might make. Or, you may be more talented than I am at these things /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

    Sorry I can't answer your question, but I am serious about taking it to people who deal with this day to day (esp. with Audis). New car - scuff marks - no thanks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

    I've had my audio fully redone by a professional!
    Alpine head-unit with ipod
    2 Audisson amplifiers
    2 DLS 5.5 inch compo's
    1 Rochford Fosgate sub

    We get squeezed dry by the tax man in Denmark ... but get my A3 Ambition in 2 months - thats a UK Sport right?

    Anyway, I need to upgrade the sound when I get it

    Q to Koen: Did they mount the Rochford Sub next to the spare wheel with any special housing?
