Hi just joined on here.

My daytona grey q5 is being deatailed all next week starting with a stage 3 paint enhancement and then coated with ceramic pro 9h and a coat of light to finish . This hopefully will rid the car of all the little marks and swirls from previous washing and make it shine like new again and water will run off with ease lol .

While it's in the calipers are being painted and exhaust tips being changed :grinning:

Anybody on here had this done before and thoughts on it ?

Thanks Rich

Got the q5 back Friday evening just before the rain started, The paintwork is silky smooth and beads lovely. Hope it now last a bit longer than a traditional polish .

While it was in the chrome badges came off and were replaced with black badges. The calipers were painted yellow and exhaust tips replaced with carbon sleaved stainless tips.

Rich.

I'm wanting to get ceramic coating applied on to my A3 but I'm still looking for a decent place. Where did you get it done? If you don't mind me asking but how much did it cost?

Have you got any pictures?

Hi MKC

The car was done at a company in southampton called monster wraps
http://www.monsterwraps.co.uk/ceramic-pro
The price was negotiable as I also had a few other things done aswell. Best thing to do is check the prices list and see what they say I'm sure no company want to turn away business at the mo.

This is the link to my car rather than clogging up two threads. I'm really happy only the tests of time will tell if it works as well as it should lol.

Hope this helps
