The illuminations on the heating switches do not work on my 1999 A4. They never have since I got it in the summer. Now with winter upon us, it would be nice if they would light up in the dark. Any ideas on where I start to find where the problem is?

    Thanks

The seat heating switches? You can take them apart and solder new LEDS on mate.

sorry about not being clear, it is the knobs for the heating for the car, the 3 knobs, the airflow direction knob, the airflow power knob and the temperature knob, this may not be the correct terminology but hopefully you know what I mean. None of these light up.

Got it sorted, a blub was all that needed changing. Purchased a Haynes manual and in a hour or thereabouts it was all done.

    Thanks for the advice.
