    Hi all,

Do any fellow members know where I can get the locking clip or mech for the centre arm rest as mine has snapped off and will not lock?

So ever time I pull my arm rest up the top lid flaps around.

Is it possible just to change the lock or do I need a complete centre armrest?

Any input will be much apreciated.

Thank you guys and gals in advance.

You can get the lid portion of the armrest from Audi separate from the lower part.

The clip is in the lid and cannot be purchased separately ( to my knowledge )

Not cheap unfortunately ( £40 ish for non-leather ) - have a check on ebay as sometimes they come up.

    Cheers

    I have the same prob.
Think I'm gonna take the lid off and rip it apart, attempt a repair and put it all back together.

    Nothing to lose eh?

Actually forgot my car is under warranty, so that might be the first point of call. lol

Agreed, try your dealer first, I broke mine twice in a previous car. Audi fixed it both times under warranty :icon_thumright:

Let me know how you get on. Think they will do it for you if its under warranty.

For what it's worth I e-mailed a contact at my local Audi who spoke with the warranty guy and said they will still need to see the actual damaged clip, but they will order a new lid in so it's ready for Friday, and I can go in and have it replaced there and then. So looks like warranty is fine.
