    Hi,

Been having issues with my stereo throwing up random error codes when playing CD's.

I want to remove the CD changer so that I can check it out mechanically and give it and the optical head a good clean.

Had a look but cannot figure out how it comes out of the metal bracket that it is mounted in. :uhm:

    It's located in the boot.

Can anyone give me any pointers as to how to remove the changer?

    Thanks :)

On mine, the entire bracket slid out after removing 2 or three screws, then you can unbolt the changer from the bracket.

Not sure if its the same on a saloon.

Remove the n/s boot trim, then undo 2 or 3 8mm bolts and the whole bracket comes out, after undoing the wiring plug.

Will an aftermarket cd changer fit onto existing wiring connection?
    Any recommendations?
