CD changer lead in boot?

Hi,

Just bought a 2006 A3 1.6 SE ...with a chorus tape deck...

Can anyone tell me if it will have a CD changer lead in the book beside the standard sub? Been offered a 10 CD changer for nout. Seen some threads that mention this...just want to know before I go about removing all the trim to have a look.

On the 8L A3's some do some don't, all the early ones did IIRC and then the bean counters got involved and stopped fitting the lead as standard. Just look in the cubbyhole and it will be clipped to the bodywork quite a way in past the rear seatbelt reel, shown below:

I doubt on the 8P there is anything surplus fitted as standard, though you can pick a lead up on ebay - yours will be quadlock on a 2006
