CD Changer Connection in A3

Hi all,
I was just looking in the boot of my A3 on the left hand side for the connection to a CD Changer and I just cannot find it.

Am I looking in the right place? If so then is it by the rear lights of tucked in behind the Sub? I just for the life of me can't see the damn thing.

Does anyone have a photo of the connector or any more info?

Just don't want to go ripping the car apart when the connector might be blatently obvious.

I think I recall previous posts that say that the CD connector isn't always there, it depends when your A3 was made etc. It isn't there in mine for example.

Yes it's only there on most, not all models.
It's quite hard to get to so it could be you have it but just haven't located it yet. It's right at the back of the cubbyhole (towards the front of the car), past the seatbelt reel, just far enough out of reach that you can only get one hand to it. Shown below with the trim removed.
