Castrol Edge in Wilkinsons

Browsing in my local (Ayr) branch and spotted this at £8.98/litre, marginally cheaper than Opie oils and possibly more convenient.

Not a bad price for oil these days, looking atleast double from a petrol station.

Kind of off topic question but would putting say quantum (thats what iv got currently)in when you do an oil change and then topping up with that castrol edge be ok to do?

Providing the grading of the oil is the same, no problem.

You can get some great bargains in Wilko. I got 2 * 4litres of their own brand 5w/40 fully synthetic (which I believe is Comma) for £16 a couple of weeks ago (yep, £2 a litre). They had it marked down as half price due to it having old packaging. I even got them to check out back to see if they had anymore as I'd have bought it.

National Tyres will do you an oil change, Castrol Edge, for £36 inc filter but you have to book on line and then book into your nearest depot.
