Carpet alopecia!

Anyone else suffered with the carpet pile coming out of the backing?
Its only in the passenger side footwell, along the exhaust tunnel, near to the centre console, but I have no idea what caused it

I wanna get it sorted because it really lets the car down, but a new carpet is really expensive and a lot of work to change!!!

I've got a hole in the drivers side foot well from the last owner i think it was a woman who had high heals on wore a big hole in it luckily my floor mats cover it lol

I wish the hole was that small. Its too high up to be covered by floor mats as well!

All jokes aside, if its still <3 old, take it back to the dealership..
