has anyone got a carbonio CAI and front mount intercooler with no problems?

i was told the CArbonio interferes with the FMIC pipework.

i have A4, 1.8T!

help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you.

Not sure if anyone is running that setup on here.

I wouldnt worry too much about it though as i am sure you would be able to get pipe work adapted, just a question of if you have someone relativley close by and much you would pay.

thanks for the advise, thing is in middle of a K04 turbo conversion dont really want to spend anymore than i need to lol. its like i pay £225 for a carbonio n spend more to get pipes sorted or spent about £170 on a BMC and not worry bout any pipework!

i know alot of peeps on here have BMC or Simota kits, I just dont think the Carbonio's benefits if any warrant the extra money. Most on here that have the BMC or Simota kits are more than satisfied with them. That would leave you the space for the pipe work and some extra cash for something else think there is a post on Silicon Hose kits that you can get cheap. That would tie in well with upgrading the turbo.

PS what you doing with your old turbo is it K03?

spot on mate, just been searching and BMC and simota are most common!

ive ordered the cheap hosing its already on it way thanks to DOC!

appreciate your advise.

Dan.

p.s. yup its a K03, prolly flog it and recoup some £ back to buy fuel afterwards! :)
