I did some carbon fibre vinyl on my car today (As well as the stop gap facelift imitation front end), so thought I'd share the love and enjoyment with you all :)

All in all fairly easy, takes a fair amount of time to make sure the bubbles are pushed out etc, but all you need is an hair dryer, soft cloth to rub the bubbles/shapes etc, and a credit card type thing to help push into the gaps etc.

If you want to do it, I'd practice on a small piece first, something easy and straight forward to do.

The grill might work a bit better if you either cut the bottom chrome section off the original top grill of wrapped that as well so the chrome was just around the edge of the whole job ??

Where do you get this carbon wrap stuff ?

Quite a few, but funds will play a big part as me and the woman are looking for our own place together, but wheels would be my first choice.

No, I emailed the guy, he will do custom sizes to suit what you need, I paid £15 delivered for 1 74cmx30cm and a 80cmx40cm.

Bit of an update, I finished the wrapping of the upper grills lower lip, looks much better than the old grill IMO, at least until I get the funds for a proper conversion.

Tidy job there fella, tinting the bottom bar of the top grill has really made it look like a later grill

PM away mate, always happy to help out.
You could have used your piano black ones (mine are piano black), as the carbon wrap comes off easily enough with an hair dryer, and there is no damage to the trim at all.

    Cheers buddy!
