Carat dealers today for updates.

    Hi gang.
    Car in today and had the following warranty work done.

    1. s/w update for Haldex controller. No info on what the update addresses.
    2 vacuum line repositioned in C pillar for exhaust flap actuater - stopped rattling on start up.
    3 brake check - remove and replace pads along with full clean of calipers.

    Anyone ales been contacted / had the work done?

    You haven't had the full front brakes done (i.e. discs, callipers and pads)?

    no offer of replacement brake.
    i guess different serial numbers qualify for different fixes.

    Hey jerseypaul,

    The product improvement for the RS 3, which includes the brake fix, IS applicable to your car! :yes:

    Unfortunately, the answers to this issue are now getting somewhat fragmented so here are two 'threads' you need to go look at:

    1) Thread: Software update. See Post #3

    2) Thread: Off to have the brakes fixed. See Post #170

    And here jerseypaul, is what the brake upgrade looks like - as on Vito's car, and each and every car that's been in my garage has had the SAME modification: brake discs, brake calipers - with anti-vibration mountings, brake caliper supports, and brake pads:

    I had the heldax update done, it suposed to stop some of the prop shaft failures. Post update L/C is not quite as voilent, thats the only difference I have noticed.
