car will not turn over

    i own an 1999 A3 1.6 was driving no longer than a couple of minutes and the car just died doing about 20mph no noise or nothing radio stayed full electrics seems ok now it will not even turn over, there is plenty of power in the battery, petrol is fine, oil & water a ok when i turn the ignition i can hear the pertol pumping and no noise is coming from the starter but the car had been wobbling a bit when in nuetral and stationary please help if anyone has any question they would like to ask me about if you require for info please help

    Try push start it. If your car turns on ur starter motor has gone

    tried that even tried hitting the starter with a hammer while turning the ignition could it be the immobileser

    how do you tell if an engine is siezed can it sieze while i am driving it

    Yes it can sieze, but i doubt its that if you say the oil is ok in it.

    Could it be your ignition coil??

    May be worth getting the car on Vagcom before you do anything else to save yourself time and money.
