Car kit installation

My s3 has a nokia car kit installed but there seems to be no microphone. I have sourced a mic and want to install it but am wondering if anyone know where the kit is likely to be installed within the car. To save me stripping down the dash to find it I thought it would be worth asking anyone on here if they know where the brains of it are like to be installed?

I have a Nokia one in mine and the control box for it is behind the head unit

Pop the head unit out and you should see it (if its there!). From memory its a grey plastic box with wires plugged into it. You should be able to see which one the mic fits into and bobs your aunty.

I will have a look tomorrow, with a bit of luck it will be there, dont fancy pulling the dash to bits

my nokia kit is behind the glove box thats probably the best place to start & easiest to get to.
