Is it hard to swap to a new one?

I've been wondering about this, from the looks of it u just put a pin in the hole that's on the key part to seperate it and just swap over the battery bit. The only part I couldnt work out was how to get the chip out

Same and I dont want to break it because they cost a bomb for the full thing.

I know if you damage the transponder it'll be knackered,someone told me use nail varnish remover to break down the glue iirc

I've just had a look and my transponder came out quite easy.
The Audi badge needs removing to reveal a screw underneath then it pulls in half but beware of the spring mechanism for the blade.

I've managed to break both my keys for mine now.... meaning when you pull them out the ignition you leave half of it behind

Mines a 2 button one so I might have a look on ebay for one and try to swap things about.
